This wall sculpture is Radioactive! The green screen is a layer of uranium glass marbles between two layers of glass. A black light is behind the marbles, as well as two Xenon gas discharge tubes. The switches and meters control the systems including cooling fan. Uranium glass is also sometimes referred to as depression glass and gives off a green fluorescent glow under a black light. The spherical transparent marbles magnify and distort the plasma arc of the xenon tubes. Local pickup or delivery only 24.5"W 15"H 6"D
