Starving Artist Fund Coin Bank Manipulator
I first unveiled this concept at Makerfaire Austin ‘08. I have added some bells inside for a nice tonal quality to the coin drop, and refined a few other mechanics. The articulating arm is from an ultrasound TEE probe. The claw is constructed of cable actuated small sections of chain. You must see the video for a full explanation of this sculpture!
